RUC 09 (Part 2)

We were sent an email from SRC saying that registration starts at 7.00 - 7.30am but when I went there, there wasn't a lot of people around. We found out that it is much later. I was wondering why we needed to be there so early. Since it was still empty, I just took the opportunity to take pictures here and there but not all turned out nice because I didn't set the white balance in my phone camera.

Well, from here, take the escalator down and walk straight all the way to reach the hall. What happened was, I got mixed up between the signboards and took a right turn which led me to a hall for Mesyuarat Agung sthg sthg. =.= Lucky thing I was still early, or else, it'll be really obvious that I sesat jalan (lost).

See... no one there! I was the first! Okay, the people you see over there are technicians who are setting up the PA system, multimedia etc. When we walked in after students from other states/universities arrived, they asked Kor Woi where we were from. Next thing I knew, the guy was like 'Ohh... dari IMU? Duduk Barisan 1' (Ohh.. from IMU? Sit in the 1st Row.) There went my hopes of sneaking a story book to read or lecture notes.

After registering, we grabbed our Breakfast and sat outside to eat. Once again, we took the CHANCE to take pictures here and there. :D It's not like we'll come here more than 5 times in a year. It's weird that there's water on the 'roof'. Kor Woi said its for Feng Shui purposes. =.= Don't ask me why but yeah...

The conference started with various speeches, singing of the National Anthem and pledges. One phrase which I'll never forget though is 'Not everyone think like you...' which is why you can't expect others to do things that you would do given the situation. You might think of results that are different from what others are thinking of. Still, sometimes, when I tell others this, one of the response that I get is 'Everyone should think like me... because I'm right.' =.= I'm not going to even comment about this. Do you have something to say?

The speaker also mentioned that sometimes, common sense is not common in stressful situations. Sure, you may be calm now, look at the person and say 'Aiyah.. easy ni lah! Just do that, then can lorr...' but with Adrenaline rushes, don't be so sure. How to overcome this? The person said, 'Train yourself to make decisions in stressful situations. If you make a mistake, learn from it so that in future, you don't repeat it.'
Dental, Medic, Nursing, Medic students...
Kor Woi... stop emo-ing.. ^^ Got food to eat arr...
So, this is the whole group early in the morning... after a few attempts to take a nice picture. This one turned out best.
This is the whole group after the conference. Still in one piece, conscious, alert but with more stuff in our head and heart. =)

Apart from that, clinic visits ended too and my pblmates since sem 2 and till the end of sem 3... :)

Which group do I prefer? My original group or this? hmm, hard to choose. The only difference is that by the time we were rearranged to the second group, I've known most of them where as in the first, I know my first PBL group for the first time. ^^ I'm glad to have them for another 3 systems. hehe.
