Lil' Update

Brian gave me a link for me to download medical notes using his account and his password. I've never came across such a kind person especially when I've only seen him once. Nevertheless, he is still my senior. I feel a little sad that he has to repeat one semester.

I got to know more than one senior now. There's Wil (for short), Brian (as mentioned), Marcus and Jimmy! Not to forget, my ex-classmate, Jia Ji...

It'll be nice to go there. I can't wait! I think I will take part in cheerleading. That is, if I can...

Bored but occupied

I am so itching to hit the books. But then again, I'm not.

What have I been doing?

  • Watching more Korean dramas
  • Designing cheerleading uniforms
  • Finding cheerleading music
  • Downloading music sheets
  • Trying to maintain 5 blogs
  • Working on a project
  • Going to learn how to drive as I am still waiting for my license

So, I have been bored and occupied. I have the medical books at home. My brother passed them all down to me but I still share them with him. So, I just need the motivation to study. Oh well, perhaps next time then.

I sat for my undang test the other day and everything was too superstitious for me. When it comes to numbers, I dislike the number 4 and 7 or any other number which has either one of these two numbers. Since every candidate would be given a computer number, I got number SEVENTEEN.

If you want to know what is way weirder than that, it is when I printed out the results slip. For the record, I passed the test with 47/50 (I’m not grumbling). Then, I realised that there are too many number Sevens on the paper. Someone like me do not exactly read something carefully when I panic or become nervous.

It turns out that I finished the test in SEVENTEEN minutes and SEVENTEEN seconds. Do you call that coincidence?

When my driving instructor drove us back, I passed a tree which had a poster stapled on it. On top of the poster, someone sprayed the number SEVENTEEN with red paint. Is that weird, or is THAT WEIRD?

Is that a sign of something? Freaky… o.O

Lyrics: Tongue Tied

Yesterday, I slept at 6 something in the morning. I think the correct sentence should be- I slept at 6 something this morning. I was not tired at all. I was in front of the laptop like 90% of my time. 10% goes to lunch time and dinner time. What was I doing? I was doing some research for my English assignment as well as my Physics assignment.

I realised that I’m beginning to be a boring person. Kar Men on the other hand is getting more active in blogging since she has found topics to write on. One of the post I love the most is this one. You’d probably know why… I also found a new song, no it’s not a Korean song. I heard it at Ivan's site. The title is Tongue Tied by October Fall. I’m addicted to the song for no apparent reason. I just like it. It has been such a long time since I listened to nice English songs. Tomorrow, I’ll be having lunch with Kar Men.

Anyway, as for my English assignment, some of you know what it is about and most of you don’t. I can’t mention it here yet what it is about, ooh.. the temptation to spill out.. must resist… must be a surprise…. Once I’ve finished the essay, I’ll post it up here but I hope that it won’t bore you. Ohh.. who am I kidding? I’m going to write a boring essay but the process will be interesting. Some IMPORTANT and INTERESTING people to me have no idea what is coming their way. I just hope that my plan works.

Oh yeah, about the issue of two bloggers getting sued, it has created quite a heat hasn’t it? It’s like the hottest topic in the blogger’s world. As most of us know as well, the logo ‘Bloggers Unite’ was made. As much as I would like to put it in the sidebar, I don’t know how. I’d probably know how using Blogger but not Wordpress. So, if anyone knows, please guide me. Thank you!

Tongue Tied

by October Fall (from A-Z Lyrics)…

Your head lays down upon this car
But I hate you for what you are
And what I have become
Fire burns within your lungs
So light yourself another smoke
And recreate what you call “home”
Make me feel like you care, moonlight shines
Down on your hair
And did I let you know how beautiful you look tonight
Your smile lights the sky
And all I ask is you save me your last dance…

Tick tock we dance to the beat
The clock spins, you spin into me
Feel my hands, I’m not shaking [2X]

Start flames to burn out
Start thinking out loud
Give me an ending
Then we’ll stop pretending
If we stop pretending, we know where we’re heading
’cause I said stop but I’m still spinning
They’ve said I’ve lost but I’m still winning
Burn quick and stand still
Speak slow to get through these words I couldn’t
Say to you
I crack concrete falling down for you

Tick tock we dance to the beat
The clock spins as you spin into me
Feel my hands, I’m not shaking [2x]
Feel so t-t-t-tongue tiedI’m not shaking

Random pictures

A 4-year-old girl came up to me and said, "You look like my teddy!" Well, you can read the rest in my blog.

Anyway, here are some random pictures...

Looks like Santa's reindeers have been up to no good. Not to mention doing that in public! What would kids think about it?! If I'm not mistaken, I took this in MidValley before Christmas. It is really funny to see the "decorations" doing such decoration.

I took this one in Sunway Pyramid, on 4th October. I was out on a movie with my friends when we spotted this! Actually, it is OPENING SOON, no PENING SOON. But because the so-called door was open, from the angle I was at, it looked like PENING SOON. Haha...

This one was taken during the lecture, you know, the Undang lecture which we must all endure before sitting for the test? Yes, as you can see, I was bored...

At Sunway Pyramid

Tomorrow, I’ll be heading back to college again. I’ll be meeting up with a couple of familiar faces like Khong Hern and OBLE definitely. Since OBLE will be going to Australia soon, I presume tomorrow will be the last time I see him. As for Khong Hern, I’ll be seeing him in IMU. He is like already there! Well, he took the Pharmacy twinning programme, so, no doubt about not being able to meet him.

Today, I went to Sunway Pyramid. The peer teaching group that Jacelyn and I were teaching last year (assigned by Miss Yeap) was going to treat us. But in the end, only two turned up because the others had transport problem. Besides them, Jacelyn’s boyfriend was there too… We ate at HARTZ and believe me, the chicken buffet makes me not want to eat chicken anymore. I only had 3 pieces of chicken and that was more than enough to make me feel sick.
Talking about buffets, I still think that Sho-gun is DA BOMB.

After we ate, we talked; about random stuff such as eating snakes, dogs, worms and frogs. Not only that, we also talked about Kenny. Yup, the all-time celebrity in the blogosphere–> Kenny Sia. (I don’t though, I just think that it was an opportunity for him to make my ESL assignment easier when he turned down my interview.)

Oh yeah, Jacelyn introduced me to J Co Donuts. As old fashion as I may sound to you, yes, I do not indulge but this time, I thought, “Why not?” After all, it was time to give my mum a treat. So, I bought 1/2 dozen of doughnuts (or donuts) and was devided equally for me and my mum. She loved the Tiramisu while I, well… I just love the Oreo (although it increases cholesterol level in blood and can cause diabetes) XD

Did I mention that I also met ASHA? Yup, my classmate… I will be meeting her again tomorrow, hopefully, she remembers. It has been a year since we last met but we have been on the phone on and off throughout the SAM year.

Disguised motorcyclists...

For once, I actually learnt that disguise may be something that get us tangled in the web when we are not alert of things. As Sin Yee drove her car to a space which is not a parking lot but rather behind another car, two people wearing jackets on a motorcycle stopped by.

Well, I thought that he was just going to find fault because they might not be able to “park” (or leave) their motorcycle. And so they said:

Them: Boleh letak kereta di sini kah? (Are you allowed to leave your car here?)
Sin Yee: Tak block mah, boleh lah.
Them: Tak block kah?

Then, they got down from the motorcycle and took off their jackets! They were policemen! I was like -____-lll After that, all the cars started to take off (the ones that of course not parking in the parking lot. It was funny though. They didn’t give her any parking tickets but there were a lot of cars which did.

Oh well, we were all surprised after that and couldn’t afford to take chances if you know what I mean.

1st Day Sale

I am depressed over the Graphic Calculator which I sold for only RM260 and that Indian man freakin’ took a book for “free” which was not even in the deal at all! The son is innocent but those people are who I hold grudges on, I guess. I admit that it was partially my fault because I was not being aware. However, I would never believed to be cheated by another Malaysian as such. He told me that there was going to be a Fair and calculators will be sold for RM200. Being afraid that I might not at all be able to sell the calculator, I just took his offer.

That was just plain idiotic of me and I regret it now. Malaysians…. Because one gives a bad impression, it stays like this for the rest of our lives. What happens if foreigners who travels to Malaysia experience such? Would you think that they would ever want to come to Malysia again? It is how the Malay proverb ’sebab nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga’ describes this situation. Not only during this incident that I experience such dissapointment, but while watching Amazing Race Asia, the Malaysian mums were in my opinion, not playing fair. I know that I should be supporting the representatives from my country but sometimes, you just can’t agree to something that is morally wrong. In that episode, the Japanese team got eliminated.

What happened? Well, they were using tricks to have the Japanese team go the wrong way and what if that happens to you? Wouldn’t you feel frustrated to be cheated? That is just wrong, man… It is just a freakin game and to me, they have gone too low. As this programme will be telecasted world wide, what would other people think of them?

Anyway, I did sell my notes to this guy who’s brother studies in IMU as well. I binded it for him and it wasn’t as cheap as I thought it would be but heck, it could have been more expensive. I really hope that the notes would be of very good use to him. That would make me feel proud and happy as the owner. I know that right now, I sound mad to treat my notes like my “baby” but what the heck, I wouldn’t part with it unless I know it has a good owner or at least a decent looking owner.

Other than that, Vivek and Shan helped me sell my books and I too, helped them sell theirs. It was a mutual thing. I have a bag of books reserved for a girl. I sure do hope that she turns up tomorrow, otherwise, I’d have a headache having to sell the books all over again. I guess I can’t complain much except for being conned by the Indian men.

They were even asking me to reserve my notes and I did in the beginning but in the end, they didn’t come. So, it’s a good thing that there has been an arrangement for someone else to get it from me. Thamo was suppose to sell his stuff with me but he sold everything for a much more cheaper price that I think was too good to be true! Eu Jin was unbelievable too. He sold his original books for a very very cheap price. I think I should have bought from him and sold it for a way higher price. What the heck, it was initially RM20 only until he changed it to RM40. Selling it for RM60-80 would still be reasonable considering that it is an original.

Oh well, what has happened has already happened. So, tomorrow is a new day and I am going to help Shan sell his books. Now, I’m wondering if I should sell my assignments. Hehehe… Nah, that’d be unfair…. *I’m so tempted to do so though*
