Parking ticket

I went to a supermarket today to go get some stuff for my project. So, my mum parked her car in a parking lot which the area belongs to the supermarket. So, about an hour (or less) later, we (my mum, my aunt and I) got into the car. As we were about to start our journey back to Ipoh, my aunt spotted a yellow piece of paper clipped at the car wiper. O-oh…Who would ever think that we’ll get a ticket? You know… It’s like parking in Jaya Jusco, Ipoh and getting a parking ticket. My mum was like a bomb ticking and waiting to explode.
She spotted a few policemen and stopped one of them to ask where she could pay the ticket because my family moved to KL then, to Ipoh around 9 years ago. The policeman looked at us and then, walked away. Again, my mum called him but louder. It is impossible if he didn’t hear her then because his colleague who was a few meters further from him turned and look at us. For that policeman, he just pretended as if nothing had happened or should I say as if no one called him. Damn...
So, that’s the etiquette of a policeman I thought- rude and ignorance. My mum stopped a passer-by and asked him where she could pay the ticket and told him the story of how only her car got the ticket where as the other two cars parked beside her got none. He told her to pay at MPSP and then said, “Ini macam… Ini macam...(It’s like that.)”
Finally, my mum paid for the ticket and after a really long time, our journey back to Ipoh started.

I got the book....

I was finally able to get the book I wanted at Gurney Plaza. Well, there was a book fair by the Big Bookshop and I took a quick look to search for the book. Finally, I spotted something in orange. Hmm.. it seemed as though it was calling me when I did not look carefully at it. Slowly, I took a couple of steps behind and I was like 'AHA! Life's Like That... Yay!!' I wanted to get it but then I noticed that the book cover was not so nice, so, I looked for another one. Again, it wasn't nice. I searched high and low at Popular and MPH. I wanted to get it at MPH but then again I have a Popular card which enables me to get discount.
Then, I spotted another book, 'Tuesdays with Morrie'. It has been a long time since I wanted that book and after calling my brother, he agreed to pay for the book! =) Excited because I get another book, I looked for another book because the cover was like fried vegetable. Fustrated because the condition of the other book was the same-fried vegetable. So, I went on to pay the book I have in my hand. Another book caught my eye. Actually, a few books. One of them is 'Can You Keep A Secret?' and the whole collection of Shopacholics.

What luck...

Well, it's the last of school before the beginning of school holidays. I got back seven papers already and three more weeks to the next exam. Indeed, we have two monthly exams before midterm.
My school was badly damaged by the storm that hit us last Tuesday. There goes my 'Taman Angkat' when one pretty tall tree was down with a white tank at the side. I was told that it "flew" from Fairmont Hotel. What luck... Looking on the bright side, there's no need for use to water the plants at the "Taman Angkat" anymore.
Besides that, I found a bloger whom I truly admire. She is also the creater of Eh Poh Nim, the character which appeared in 'The Star' but I'm not sure if it still does. I have been stalking her blog, hehe... and I find it pretty interesting. Although I don't know how to link it to this post, but her blog link can be found under Life's Like That at the "Friends" corner. She is Lydia Teh.
I bought two books the other day when I paid a visit in Popular. One of them is 'Cinta Pertama' whereas the other one is 'The Sky Is Crazy'. There is a book which I'm looking for. The title is 'Life's Like That'. I thought since the author is an interesting person, the book she wrote must be interesting too. So, I went to Popular to ask for the book. I was then told that they don't have such book! I was puzzled for a moment and just left. What luck... Perhaps MPH sells it. I haven't got time to go MPH yet but I will go soon.
That's all for now. Tata...

New interest??

I have taken a new interest in Chinese songs. I never knew that chinese songs to me sounds better than english songs. Well, I find it lighter as in like less drums and more guitar/piano. I like Wang Lee Hom and Jay Chou's songs. My dad is getting me an iPod Nano 1GB. I'm getting it around April. Yay! Let alone the school exam results, life has been Grr-eat... At least, I don't sleep in class anymore. =)

1 Good/ Bad news...

Oh yeah! Exams over and I am so glad... Let's see, basically I screwed up big time in Biology and Physics. Others were okay, not that it was easy, it was tough but it can be done. I got back 2 papers already. Yes, teachers are marking the testpapers quite fast and I am proud of my Add. Maths which I scored 100%! Oh yeah! Well, there are 9 people in my class who scored full including me whereas 5 people in 5Sc1 scored full... Not so pleasant knowing: I may be failing my Physics. 2 essays, 10 marks each which means 1 question carries 50%... 2nd question was okay (waves) but the 1st question brought disaster to me! It was about 'teleskop astronomi'... I felt as if I was flushed, down the drain I went. I had NO idea how to answer it AT ALL.....
So, what's done is done, I leave no regrets. However, I would do better if there were to be more time...

p/s: I know that I used a lot of '.......' .Don't bother, I didn't feel like writing properly at all...

Tata~
